Students in the Simcha Shtick class must bring their own unicycles, and must have an extra pair of juggling balls to leave and practice at home. There is a $10 fee for juggling balls that they will leave in the building when they come to class and take home at the end of the semester.
Students of the Simcha Shtick class will learn Juggling, unicycle and balancing. Balancing includes standing on one’s hands and balancing objects.
All students are taught in a way that they will be able to perform within a few months. At the end of each semester, the class will have a recital in front of all the parents of the Simcha Shtick Class to displays the skills that they have learned.
At the end of the Spring semester, those students who have gained proficiency in any of the Simcha Shtick skills will be entitled to perform at our end of the year grand performance. Last year’s performance had an audience of over 700 people.
We cannot underscore the need to practice, practice and practice. If you feel that your son is not ready to commit to practice on a regular and constant basis, we suggest that he attends another elective in the Shaarei Arazim After School Program.
