Dedication to magic can teach confidence and creativity, as well as the work ethic associated with regular practice. The students will learn the 7 basic principles of magic, basic card manipulation and handling, practical sleight of hand, how to create routines for performing and the knowledge to make magic with everyday objects from coins to pencils. Students will also learn the ability to create beginner and intermediate balloon shapes, flowers, animals with multiple balloons. Including performance and presentation techniques to be used at a party.
At the end of the Spring semester, those students who have gained proficiency in any of the Magic Tricks and Balloon Sculpting skills will be entitled to perform at our end of the year grand performance. Last year’s performance had an audience of over 700 people.
